About 4 or 5 years ago, if you tried to ask me to play a game of basketball, I would say no. Now, if you asked me, I would be up for any challenge. I don't know what happend, but a few years ago, in a time span of 1 or 2 days I started to actually like the game of basketball. I've been playing basketball since I was 4-years-old. I didn't like the sport till I was 10, and I didn't get good at the sport till I was 11. Now I'm playing for an AAU basketball team, witch means tougher competition. The last time I was in the AAU, I didn't now what I was doing, I just wasn't good at the sport. But these days, basketball is my life!

ReplyDeleteI know you said that you aren't sure what happened, but I bet if you think about it, you do know. Think really hard about how you prepared and the people who helped you and I bet you will have a story about basketball finally clicking for you. Think about it. I would LOVE to read about that moment when you realized that this was for you and then the moment when you realized you had some skills. That would be a cool piece.
